The Library Phantasmagoria

I don't know what it is, but I seem to always feel better writing posts later at night. Perhaps it is just being tired and having lower inhibitions. Anyway...

I finally decided to bite the bullet and give the "Hololive" streams a try to see what people liked about them. I've only been watching Calliope Mori so far, but her streams are good to have on in the background while doing other things.

On an unrelated note, I sent an email to a blogger I follow and got a very kind response. The topic of the email was mostly about his choice to use email as a means of getting responses, and fears of posting. His response made me a bit more comfortable about writing, but I still feel I have a ways to go before I really have a "schedule".
I also got a response from another blogger in reference to an older email about digital identity and VR; interesting stuff that I may get to one day.

I'm still thinking about if I should move from Wordpress to Pelican on my main website. On one hand, it'd mean less of a security risk (not that there was much there to begin with; I only use the bare minimum of plugins and do my best to keep everything updated) and I don't need most of the features that Wordpress provides (comments, web-based editor, etc). On the other hand, I do still find myself checking Koko Analytics to see how many views I'm getting. I only average around 4 per week or so, but that's still nice to know.
I don't keep analytics on this blog. I've considered trying something using Apache's logging feature, but I haven't found it to seem worth the effort. I could very well be throwing these messages into the void.
As a side note: I want to update the website's css. As much as I love the clean look that the library has right now, it feels far too rigid and cold for my taste. I don't know what I'll be doing to fix it, but it needs to be fixed. For my one reader that is here right now: I'll save the current setting as an alternate style sheet. Also sorry for the extra post in the RSS feed - I realized the previous post's file name was formatted incorrectly.
