The Library Phantasmagoria

I don't feel like I have a need to separate this into multiple posts, so this one will cover a few different things.

I'm once again reminded of how great of a composer Hitoshi Sakimoto is after hearing this performance of Neo Verona. Hitoshi's music has this air to it that I've never heard replicated by others. I assumed it was something to do with the instruments used to convert MIDI files to regular formats, but this proves me wrong! (not that it made much sense to begin with)

I use git to manage versions of this website (mostly to synchronize the source files between devices) and had a pretty big fight against some merge conflicts.

I've added/revised my books page. I'm not a big fan of fiction, but I have been enjoying three manga series. Hopefully I'll finish off Index soon.

I'd bought the Theme System journal from Cortex Podcast back in December as a way to keep track of my goals regarding reading/language learning. I'd say I've succeeded in both, but with an interesting side: I haven't updated nearly as often as when I started. My first dozen or two entries were all nearly daily, but the last three are spaced nearly a month apart from one another. I want to use it more, but I feel like the important part for me - kindling to start the fires of habit - has run its course.
